For Caregivers & Loved Ones

How you can help

If your loved one has been diagnosed with lymphoma, their journey shouldn’t be a lonely one.

Learning that you have lymphoma is never easy. It can spur a range of emotions for people when they are initially diagnosed, and caring for a loved one with lymphoma means you are experiencing cancer alongside them. It is natural to feel tired, or worried, or even overwhelmed. For those facing refractory or relapsed lymphoma, the experience can bring back a range of emotions they felt when they were first diagnosed. These emotions might be no easier to cope with the second time around, even if your loved one is aware that there are options available.

As a loved one, you are a partner, a friend, a health aid, an advocate, and you may be highly involved in the decision-making process when it comes to potential options. If your loved one has lymphoma, they may be able to take part in a research study.
